Acquity Group’s( A part of Accenture Interactive) Next Generation of Commerce Study 2015 takes a look at the social habits like age, trust, likes etc. of multiple demographics on social media shares. The results are intriguing like, facebook is the most trusted social media channel for branded content; millennials rush to buy a product they see plastered all over their social media feeds, but the older generation tends not to buy into the hype.

As per Jay Dettling, managing director of Accenture Interactive, “The insights and data points provided in this study and the extracted report will help marketers better understand how consumer want to digitally engage with products and services and help them create updated experiences that resonate.”
